INTERNAL REGULATIONS – TOUR DU MONDE GUESTHOUSE
Effective date: November 1, 2023
Foreword
These regulations, updated on November 1, 2023, replace any previous version or regulatory document not bearing a date of validation. Furthermore, payment of the accommodation deposit implies acceptance of these rules, as confirmed in the shuttle confirmation form sent to you. By checking into the chalet, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these regulations in full.
1. Access – Use of Premises – Welcome Conditions
• Check-In – 2PM – check out before 10AM
A check-in form is required for all travelers or persons staying at the guesthouse. This form must be completed upon reservation and returned within 48 hours. It includes all details related to the booking, as well as the chronological email exchanges. It is also used to update information, especially when the reservation was made long in advance.
1.1.1 Cleaning and Cleanliness
During your stay, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of your chalet. Equipment is available upon request (contact Dan). Beds must be made by the guests. Two sets of sheets, pillowcases, and towels are provided.
At departure, the chalet must be returned in the same clean condition as upon arrival. Otherwise, a cleaning fee of 5,000 CFP (approx. €42) may be charged. Any damage must be compensated or replaced.
Note: While most guests are respectful, a few have hidden broken items under beds or behind doors instead of informing us. Please, just let us know if something breaks — we won't charge you for minor accidents. We strive to offer spotless accommodations, and appreciate honest, adult communication in return.
1.1.2 Kitchenettes and Kitchens
All kitchens and kitchenettes are now equipped with induction cooktops. Please handle them with care.
1.1.3 Laundry and Linen Policy
For stays under one month: Sheets, pillowcases, towels, and dishcloths are replaced weekly by us. Personal laundry can be given to Dan: 800 CFP (€6.70) per 5kg. Drying costs 600 CFP (€5.03) per machine. Laundry is returned clean and dry but not ironed.
For stays of one month or longer: You have free access to the laundry room and washing machine. You are responsible for washing the provided linen. Limit of two loads per week (detergent not included). Extra loads cost 800 CFP (€6.70). Dryer use is optional (600 CFP or €5.03). A drying rack is also available.
